The following are links to the web sites of some woodturning-related suppliers and service providers.

Woodturning Hartlepool
This is the website of one of our club members, Dennis Wake. Dennis  is rapidly gaining a reputation for his excellent work, some of which you can see on his gallery page.
Dennis has just started up a woodturning business in Hartlepool. He has set up a well fitted out workshop unit in Hartlepool and is offering woodturning instruction courses and is building up a stock of consumables for sale.
In October 2021 Dennis qualified as an RPT (Registered Professional Turner) and resigned from his full day job to become a full time turner and instructor. Our club extends our congratulations and best wishes.

Craft Studio Woodturning
David Muckle RPT is a long standing member of our club -  a regular demonstrator both at our club and at clubs throughout the North East. He is the club's 'fount of knowledge' as an instructor and demonstrator. He also runs teaching sessions from his home in Darlington.

Andrew Hall R.P.T. Woodturner: Weardale, Co. Durham.

Andrew Hall is an excellent professional turner renowned for his stetsons and hats and guitars. He is a regular visitor to our club.
Andrew is probably the nearest turner to our club (after our own David Muckle and Dennis Wake) offering one to one woodturning courses.

Steve Fearnley
Steve is a very busy member of Snainton Woodturning Club. He is their newsletter editor and amongst his many talents is his speciality in producing trophies to order for many organisations, schools etc. His website is well worth a visit if only to make you envious of his skill.

Axminster Tool and Machinery
Axminster is one of the best known suppliers of tools and accessories for woodturning. They have an excellent on line ordering service with usually next day delivery.
They have recently opened another outlet at North Shields, on the trading estate just north of the Tyne tunnel. This is now our club's 'local' supplier.

Turner's Retreat: Harworth, Notts.
Another excellent store, supplying everything for the woodturner, and specialising in pen kits and accessories.

Dragonfire Tools

This is a link sent to me by Sean, a young  member of a Boy Scout Troop in America. He and his colleagues have been studying for their  Woodworking Merit Badge and found our website links page very helpful so he asked if we could add this link to our website. It contains a load of woodworking projects for all the family.

Thanks for that , Sean, and I hope you and your colleagues passed your exams and received your woodworking badges.

It's good to know that our website is being appreciated by people so far away.
